Travel with confidence

Your mobility needs can make it tricky to get around. But Regional Independence Services (RIS) is here to help you get from A to B independently—so you can stay engaged with your community and keep doing what you love.

Get around—your way

From short trips to the Karratha Shopping Centre to longer journeys from Onslow or Paraburdoo to Karratha Hospital, we tailor every ride to meet your needs.

From Karratha, Roebourne, Wickham, Point Samson, and beyond, you’ll get to your destination in air-conditioned comfort.

Here’s why you should choose RIS for disability transport services

  • Personalised services: We conduct individualised assessments to tailor our service to your needs—with the option of one-to-one assistance during your journey.

  • Flexible booking options: It’s easy to book and reschedule rides. Choose from our user-friendly mobile app, desktop booking, or an old-fashioned phone call.

  • Diverse destinations: Convenient transport to medical appointments, therapy sessions, events, and more. Services available outside the Pilbara on request.

  • Respectful support: Our trained driver welcomes passengers from diverse backgrounds, guaranteeing safe, culturally sensitive interactions.

  • Peace of mind: You and your caregivers can rest easy, knowing you’ll get to your destination safely and comfortably.

Rob understood what we needed to make travel easier—assisting with luggage and a wheelchair—all with a smile. He is always punctual and easy to deal with. This is an invaluable service for people with disabilities to get around the community. Thanks, Rob!

Meet your driver

I’m Rob—and I’m here to help you enjoy seamless, stress-free transportation.

I’ve been in the transport sector for over two decades and I love exploring our breathtaking local landscapes. I’m a busy husband and father—and I also live with a disability. That means I understand how isolating it can be when you can’t get where you want to go.

Driven by a personal passion to help bridge the gaps in disability transport service, I’ve created this business to make life more accessible for the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with additional needs.

Thanks to Cultural Awareness Training and a deep respect for our First People, I offer a personalised, culturally sensitive service. And with my tailored approach to transport, your service will be designed around your unique needs and preferences

I look forward to hitting the road with you!
